Responsibilities
Monitor and communicate need for security services throughout assigned area(s).
- Manage and respond to calls and / or alarms and initiate immediate response.
- Coordinate and / or dispatch staff in response to requests for service. Retrieve recorded documentation as required.
- Monitor the activities of persons on the premises by way of surveillance systems and communications.
- Initiate communication with team leader / manager when additional staffing support is necessary and assist with resolution of those issues.
- May be responsible and accountable for hiring, training, supervision and performance appraisals of security shift employees.
Requirements
Education :
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note : Required professional licensure / certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preferences
3 years Dispatcher experience preferred
