Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Opportunity

Our client in East Longmeadow, MA, is seeking a skilled staff accountant for a contract-to-permanent opportunity. This role offers the chance to work with a collaborative team, contribute to core accounting functions, and potentially transition to a permanent position based on performance.

Key responsibilities :

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes
• Assist in month-end and year-end close activities
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Research and resolve any discrepancies in financial data
• Provide ad hoc financial reporting and assist with audits as needed
