Anthony Santiago State Farm is seeking a sales-driven Telemarketer to support new business development through outbound calling and lead generation. This is a part-time role designed for someone who enjoys sales, is motivated by results, and wants a clear path into a full-time, fully licensed sales position.

Role Overview


As a Telemarketer, your primary focus is outbound calling, lead generation, and appointment setting. You will introduce prospective customers to our agency, qualify opportunities, and set the foundation for our sales team to close business.


Success in this role is measured by activity, lead quality, and appointments set.


Key Responsibilities


Make outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce insurance products and services


Identify and qualify leads by gathering key customer information


Schedule appointments for licensed team members


Follow up on marketing leads and referrals


Provide basic information and answer initial questions about insurance options


Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and customer interactions


Track activity and performance toward daily and weekly goals


Ensure all communications meet compliance and agency standards

Confident communicator with strong phone presence


Comfortable handling objections and maintaining persistence


Organized with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups


Motivated, coachable, and goal-driven


Professional and positive attitude


Prior telemarketing, sales, or customer-facing experience preferred but not required


Interest in growing into a licensed insurance sales role
