About The Position

Description :

2 years of experience or 1st timers welcome.

The position requires floating between units.

On-call duty is required, including 2-3 week nights per month plus every 8th weekend.

Weekends are required as specified in on-call details.

No block schedules are required.

Expected patient ratio is 1 : 2.

Special requirements include not approving 48-hour shifts.

The facility type is a short-term acute care center with a total of 209 staff beds.

This is a teaching hospital.

Staff members can wear any scrub color, with scrubs provided in sterile units.

Charting is conducted using Epic.

Daily census includes both adults and pediatrics.

The unit serves various specialties such as General, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Gynecology, Urology, Vascular, and Plastics.

Total joints and open colorectal cases are performed frequently.

The center is a Level II Trauma facility.

Each operating room is staffed by one RN circulator and two surgical technologists.

This position requires handling various high-level surgeries, including neurosurgical cases.

Prior community hospital experience and trauma level II experience are preferred.

Candidates will need to have some experience in robotic cases.

Two supervisory references covering the last year of experience are required.

The completion of modules is necessary for compliance, with time self-reported.
