Plant Manager
LHH is seeking a Plant Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
In this position, you will direct all operations at the facility related to the manufacturing, operations, engineering, sales, and customer service teams.
We are seeking a strong leader who has proven experience with plant management, organizational growth, capital projects, and Lean implementation to lead a fast-growing operation.
The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $120,000-130,000 per year plus a performance bonus, comprehensive medical insurance options, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the manufacturing, distribution, engineering, sales, and front-office departments
- Direct all business operations, review / revise standard operation procedures, prepare and maintain operations budget, and lead strategic planning meetings to ensure the achievement of company KPIs.
- Ensure all departments are operating effectively, encouraging collaboration, and adhering to business quality standards.
- Oversee the smooth and environmentally sound operation of the facility, ensuring adherence to company environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) policies, procedures, and training.
- Develop and nurture a high-performing team to achieve business goals, managing staffing levels and roles as needed.
- Craft, manage, and deliver the facility's expense budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Lead the preparation, submission, and oversight of Capital Expenditure Projects (CERs) to generate tangible returns.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and / or Engineering is strongly preferred
- Must have 5+ years of plant leadership and capital project management experience
- Minimum of 10+ years of operations leadership experience within a manufacturing setting is required
- Must have experience with Lean Six Sigma / 5S strategies and know how to effectively apply them
