Overview The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no-fee program to assist men and women in completing the rehabilitation program. Assumes responsibility for day-to-day store operations (including personnel and cash handling) in the absence of the Store and/or Assistant Manager. Discuss concerns with District Sales Manager. Monitors and analyzes key performance indicators to drive store sales and profitability as projected by budget and goals set by Command Retail Directors and Command Administration. In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, schedules store employees to ensure coverage; coordinates daily morning and shift-change team meetings; provides coaching, training, and development to Store Employees; processes paperwork per Review Standards, focusing on Time and Attendance compliance. Ensures high levels of customer and donor satisfaction through excellent service while maintaining positive community relations; develops strategies to improve service and the donor experience. BRP (Back Room Processing) – supports the Store Manager to ensure Back Room Processors/Warehouse Associates work effectively to meet daily processing goals. Supervises, supports, and reports on program Beneficiaries if Work Therapy assignments are in place at the store. In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, protects and secures store currency, inventory, and property, including safe funds, deposits, products for sale, equipment, and building security. Ensures the building is secured during non-operating hours with alarm system arming and alert protocol. Maintains safety measures aligned with ARC policy and governmental regulations and reports safety issues and incidents; assists in conducting and recording mandatory Weekly Store Meetings. May transfer or be relocated to other stores based on business needs. Completes all tasks as assigned by the District Sales Manager, Command Retail Directors and Command Administration. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of one year of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred. Must pass background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry. Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers, and donors. Physical Demands Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp and move objects such as files, drawers, carts, racks, fixtures, and equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks. Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Schedule: Our stores operate 7 days per week. Schedules are determined by Management and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate store coverage.
