Job description

Hello, Cascades at Orchard Park in Orem, UT is actively looking to hire a full-time Line / Prep Cook.

At Cascades at Orchard Park, our goal in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care. We strive to maximize each patient's functional independence to safely discharge her / him to the next level of care.

Job Description :

  • Responsible for ongoing meal production and timely meal service
  • Test new recipes
  • Clean the kitchen; put away / organize food deliveries
  • Assist with kitchen inspections as needed, to ensure the foodservice production area is safe and sanitary.
  • Inspect storage areas on a regular basis for proper temperatures, cleanliness, and order

    • Requirements :

  • One year of cooking experience in a high-volume environment is preferred
  • Food Handler's Permit required
  • High School diploma
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Willing to provide direction to cook-aides and dish-aides, as needed
  • Possess a great attitude while providing prompt, efficient, and courteous service
  • Passion to learn and grow within the cooking profession
