JOB SUMMARY :

We are seeking a Senior Media Engineer responsible for transforming how Disney acquires, produces, and distributes content globally, ensuring the highest quality, efficiency, and resilience. The ideal candidate will be an adept problem-solver capable of handling complex technical issues across a variety of systems including Playout Technology, Studios, Production Control Rooms, and more, with a focus on the sustainment and incremental advancement of media technology. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of both hardware and software-based technologies that support the generation, monetization, and distribution of linear and digital video / audio content.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

• Diagnose and resolve issues affecting content acquisition, production, and distribution across DEEPT networks.
• Monitor system health and performance, troubleshooting, and performing repair, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Analyze and troubleshoot audio / video streams in SDI and IP 2110 environments, as well as cloud platforms.
• Support tiered sustainment model, handling escalated technical incidents with minimal senior engineer assistance.
• Lead development and implementation of technology-related policies and procedures, supporting long-range planning for media technology needs.

Office Hours : Sunday / Monday / Tuesday from 6PM-6AM and Wednesday from 6PM - Midnight.
