Job Summary
We are seeking a fully licensed and credentialed Mental Health Therapist to join a currently small, but growing psychiatric practice. Our practice opened in 2017 as a 100% self-pay practice. We are currently adding select insurance panels . Comfortable office space in the midtown area, EMR, psychiatric collaboration, and practice support provided for negotiable percentage split of practice income. In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. If you are an experienced therapist passionate about providing high-quality care and mental health solutions, we want to hear from you! We are looking self driven, private practice minded therapists who have at least 3 yrs of experience clinical experience and full credentialing. We are currently not interviewing therapist in training. 401-K option avail through practice after probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake assessments
• Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
• Create individualized treatment plans for each client
• Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
• Perform regular wellness checks
• Adhere to all facility and licensing standards

What we are looking for

• One to three yrs of previous experience working as a mental health therapist preferred
• Master’s degree in counseling or social work.
• Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred to and some experience with psycho-dynamic treatment modalities.
• Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized
