The Operating Room Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in the Operating Room. This includes performing various housekeeping duties after each surgery, following all infection control regulations and guidelines, and upholding the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of our organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam
• 1 year of housekeeping, janitorial, and / or service-based experience, or 2 years of housekeeping, janitorial and / or service-based experience in lieu of high school diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam
• Proficiency in the operation and care of equipment normally associated with the department, such as high-speed buffers, battery-powered scrubbers, and wet / dry suction equipment
• Ability to read and write English
