Our client is dedicated to delivering exceptional cannabis experiences while upholding the highest standards of compliance and efficiency.

They are seeking an Inventory Manager , who will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing our organization's inventory levels, ensuring the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers.

This pivotal position focuses on the "back of house," demanding exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of inventory management processes.

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) :

  • Ensure that all inventory operations adhere to company policies and regulations.
  • Oversee the safe and accurate dispensing of cannabis and cannabis devices to customers.
  • Manage inventory counts, audits, reconciliations, and record-keeping to maintain precise inventory levels.
  • Monitor product movement and tracking systems to optimize stock levels and procurement strategies.
  • Train, coach, and supervise inventory staff to ensure operational excellence.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the inventory team, managing workflow and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Recognize team member performance and provide coaching and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Establish and implement operational policies, standards, and procedures for the inventory team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build consensus on strategic objectives and operational plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns related to inventory management promptly and effectively.
  • Work closely with the dispensary team to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
  • Prepare reports on inventory performance and operational efficiency to inform decision-making.

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of retail, hospitality, or inventory management experience.
  • 2+ years of broad cannabis experience.
  • Experience with inventory management software; BioTrackTHC software proficiency is a must.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of cannabis industry regulations, particularly in NYS, is favorable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Salary Range : $75,000 - $85,000
