Material Handler / Shipping and Receiving I

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (SUMMARY)

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager the Material Handler is responsible for verifying and maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, loading, and shipping merchandise or material; and receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education, Credentials, Licenses :

High school diploma or GED or earned within a designated period following date of hire.

Kind & Length of Experience :

• Must have basic computer experience in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Must have a minimum of two years working in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
• Must be able to stand for entirety of the 8-12-hour shift.
• Experience using an ERP system preferred.
• Experience operating a stand-up forklift
• Experience utilizing an RF Scanner preferred.
• Shipping and Receiving experience preferred.
