Job Description : Are you passionate about helping organizations build strong, compliant, and people-focused workplaces? Join our team as a Human Resources Consultant, where you'll play a key role in guiding clients through critical HR functions-from recruiting and onboarding to policy development and employee relations. This is a dynamic opportunity to apply your expertise in employment practices while making a meaningful impact across a variety of industries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
- Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
- Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
- Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
- Schedule or conduct new employee orientations.
- Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms.
- Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures.
- Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
Required Skills and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Management, or related.5+ years of comprehensive HR experience (Payroll, Benefits Administration, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations and Compliance).SHRM Certification Preferred.Demonstrated strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work by managing multiple HR projects simultaneously.Exceptional client service skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships.Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
