Collections Specialist Responsibilities :
- Manage collection activities for commercial and consumer accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving outstanding balances.
- Communicate effectively with clients to negotiate payment plans and address account discrepancies.
- Utilize credit and collection processes to maintain accurate financial records and minimize overdue accounts.
- Analyze customer billing and payment histories to identify potential risks and develop strategies for resolution.
- Maintain detailed documentation of collection efforts and interactions with clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing and collection processes.
- Prepare detailed reports on account statuses and collection progress using Microsoft Excel.
- Apply advanced Excel formulas to analyze financial data and generate insights.
Collections Specialist Requirements :
Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections.Strong understanding of credit and collection processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Familiarity with billing collection procedures.
