Envision Physician Services is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team at the ER at Spanish Springs in Spanish Springs, NV.

Part of the Northern Nevada Health System - Clinicians may be asked to rotate at 3 additional sites within Sparks / Reno

Postion Profile :

• Must be BC / BE in EM (ABEM or AOBEM)
• New Freestanding Emergency Department
• 9 ED beds
• 3 Fast Track beds
• 1 PEDS and 1 psych bed
• 24 hours physician coverage
• Cerner EMR
• Independent Contractor status

The ER at Spanish Springs is the first freestanding ER in the area. They are an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center and provide 24 / 7 emergency care to infants, children and adults. As a full-service emergency room, they are capable of treating life threatening injuries in addition to less urgent issues and they deliver the same high-quality care as the hospital ER. The ER at Spanish Springs is staffed with a skilled team of board-certified physicians and emergency trained nurses and offer full service diagnostics including CT, ultrasound, X-ray and have laboratory services on-site.

Northern Nevada Medical Center (NNMC) has expanded its footprint in Sparks to meet the demand for accessible healthcare. The ER at Spanish Springs, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, opened in January 2023 and is located off Pyramid Way and Oppio Ranch Parkway.

Similar to a hospital emergency department, the ER at Spanish Springs operates 24 / 7 and treats a variety of emergency medical needs including chest pain, broken bones, minor lacerations, asthma, allergic reactions, flu and other ailments.
