Abacus is looking to hire a 2nd shift Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.

This is a contract to hire role

Hours : 4 : 00pm - 4 : 00am Sun - Wed OR 4 : 00pm - 4 : 00am Wed - Sun

Responsibilities :

• Manage and process incoming shipments, ensuring the accuracy and quality of received goods.
• Receive and unload incoming shipments from delivery trucks.
• Verify quantities and inspect the condition of goods against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Document any discrepancies, damages, or issues with incoming shipments and communicate them to the appropriate parties (suppliers, supervisors).
• Label and sort incoming inventory, allocating items to their designated storage locations.
• Update inventory records and maintain accurate stock levels in the inventory management system.
• Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
