Foundation Business Administrator (Hybrid)
Description
The Foundation Business Administrator plays an important role in the success of the Foundation implementation and in the ongoing impact and success of the firm’s business development and marketing efforts.
This role is deeply knowledgeable about the processes and workflows related to Foundation and act as the subject matter expert for the Foundation software for the Marketing team.
The Foundation Business Administrator guides department leadership as they make decisions. They are instrumental in gathering feedback from users and working with the Intelligence teams to implement both process and Foundation configuration changes to support the needs of constituents across the firm.
Key Responsibilities Include :
Support implementation and deployment to the Marketing team and their stakeholders. Leverage Foundation capabilities and provide users with optimal software and workflow experience.
Translate Foundation features and functionality to best practices and new hire onboarding training materials. Develop center of excellence documentation for consistency and continuity among Marketing teams’ use of Foundation.
Develop, support, and maintain content and Microsoft Office export templates in Foundation, including RFP and pitch templates, graphical slides and other collateral, league table and Chambers templates, and other Foundation output assets.
Design and implement processes and workflows. Support on-going enhancement request prioritization and requirements gathering, in partnership with the Intelligence team.
Make recommendations regarding the configuration of the system and / or processes for data collection
Act as the day-to-day Marketing subject-matter-expert on Foundation and related processes and workflows. Actively engage department leadership to keep them informed and advise them about decisions
Assist with testing of new releases and enhancements to drive adoption of the system. Serves as point of contact with technical resources to ensure daily functioning of the system.
Qualifications :
5 years’ experience in a law firm, corporate legal department or professional services environment
Significant experience working with legal technology such as experience or expertise systems, legal research tools, workflow systems, legal project management, and practice management tools.
Experience documenting and communicating processes and workflows
Significant experience with workflow design and end-user training and support, preferably in a legal or professional services firm
Minimum of three years' experience with Litera’s Foundation
Exceptional proficiency working with MS Office platform especially PowerPoint and Word styles and Microsoft VisualBasic for Office
Demonstrated understanding of law firm structure and business practices, as well as practice-specific terminology. Experience working with a broad array of legal practices including transactional, litigation, and regulatory.
Strong working knowledge of and familiarity with legal clients and markets. Prior law firm or professional services firm experience is preferred.
Ability to develop effective and collaborative relationships with various teams, lawyers, firm administrative departments, and vendors.
Champion for change management, process improvement, user adoption, and the constant evolution of complex data strategies and needs.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex assignments with competing deadlines and priorities under minimal direct supervision.
Experience managing projects from inception through planning, execution, and delivery phases.
Experience in people management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Education :
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
