Join our team as an Excavator Operator and play a vital role in our construction projects. Operating heavy equipment, you'll be responsible for moving, loading, and grading earth, rock, gravel, and other materials.
Additionally, you'll assist in building demolition using excavators with various attachments.
Responsibilities :
- Operate excavators efficiently and safely to fulfill project requirements.
- Move, load, and grade materials according to project specifications.
- Assist in building demolition using excavators with thumb, shear, or magnet attachments.
- Read and interpret grade stakes to understand job requirements.
- Knowledge of cutting grade and digging foundations to the correct depth is a plus.
- Conduct pre and post-operational checks on equipment, ensuring cleanliness, lubrication, and refueling.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure project success.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 2-3 years of excavator operating experience.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and obtain federal installation access.
- Proficiency in working well with others in a team environment.
- Experience in reading and interpreting grade stakes is preferred.
- Knowledge of cutting grade or digging foundations to the correct depth is an advantage.
