Assistant Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities :

• Support the Accounting Manager in overseeing the general ledger, project accounting, and financial reporting functions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes , including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Review and analyze project budgets, costs, and profitability across multiple ongoing projects.
• Partner with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate tracking of project expenses and revenue recognition.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls.
• Contribute to process improvements and implement best practices for accounting efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide guidance and support to accounting team members; step in for leadership responsibilities as needed.
• Prepare reports and financial summaries for leadership review.
• Collaborate with auditors and external partners as necessary.
