Job Summary And Qualifications

The Manager Environmental Services leads, manages the operations and activities of the Environmental Services Department within assigned hospital and hospital department / campus locations. Manager provides consistent, high-quality service in a sanitary environment while ensuring state, local, federal, and joint commission regulations, established policies and procedures, and department standards of performance are met. Major responsibilities include evaluating existing systems and processes, initiating change and improvements, managing the effective operation of all environmental services activities, preparing or directing the preparation of department records, and managing the effective operation of all environmental services activities.

Qualifications you will need include a college degree preferred, a high school diploma required, minimum of three years' experience in managing environmental services, knowledge of hospital and health care operations, and knowledge of hospital and health care financial metrics.
