Downtown AV-rated law firm seeking experienced Litigation Paralegal / Secretary with knowledge of civil litigation and civil procedure.
Candidate will perform complex and detailed administrative tasks for assigned attorneys. Candidate must be able to :
- Draft pleadings and perform e-filing with various State and Federal Courts
- Maintain e-files organized and current
- Provide timely reminders to supervising attorneys regarding upcoming deadlines
- Proofread all documents produced, checking for appropriate formatting, spelling and grammatical errors, as well as ensuring that all attachments, exhibits and enclosures are intact
- Assist with assembly of exhibits and appendices for motions, depositions, and trials.
- Create a Table of Authorities & Table of Contents
- Assist supervising attorney with mediation and trial preparation
- Provide backup to other secretaries as needed
Qualifications
1-5 years' experience as Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal
Position is on-site with potential hybrid / remote flexibility after 90 days.
