Cross Functional Admin Assistant - Asheville - Up to $22 / hr
We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Cross-Functional Office Assistant to join our administrative team. This role is ideal for a well-rounded individual eager to learn and work across all facets of office operations. The successful candidate will be a proactive team player, providing essential support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
The Cross-Functional Office Assistant will work as a core part of the administrative team and will be responsible for a variety of tasks across multiple departments, including :
- Accounting Support
- Assist the team with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) duties.
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy across ledgers and statements.
- Post transactions accurately and timely to the general ledger.
- Prepare and process invoices.
- Human Resources (HR) Assistance
- Provide administrative support to the HR function as needed.
- General Administration
- Perform high-volume, accurate data entry.
- Manage and maintain efficient physical and digital filing systems.
- Assist the office team with various administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
Willingness to learn and adapt to various office operations and procedures.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent attention to detail, particularly with data entry and financial records.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is preferred.Prior experience in an office environment, accounting support, or administrative role is a plus.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $18.00 - $22.00
