About us :
Montgomery Heart and Wellness (MHW) was founded in 1997 as Houston Cardiac Association. Operating out of a state-of-the-art medical facility in Houston, Texas, MHW health interventions utilize advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tools to evaluate many individuals with advanced chronic illnesses.
MHW’s holistic approach has been scientifically validated and shown to effectively control serious cardiovascular disease and other chronic illnesses.
The Opportunity :
Montgomery Heart and Wellness is looking for a highly motivated, experienced individual to act as a patient liaison. The patient liaison position acts as a liaison between Montgomery Heart and Wellness and members of our online community and patients.
Job Responsibilities :
- Leading online courses and facilitating discussion within MHW online community.
- Organizing and participating in community events.
- Engaging with established patients that have undergone wellness therapies to ensure maintenance of health results and to keep such patients connected with MHW.
- Returning missed calls and triaging calls to their appropriate department
- Acting as a single point of contact for all out of state patients seeking to visit MHW.
- Coordinating the communication between departments regarding the prospective patient’s visits
- Assist MHW administrative team with coordinating patient files as directed by front office management.
- Assist online wellness coordinator with managing online community members as directed.
Desired Qualifications :
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in nutrition, healthcare, or related field OR a bachelors degree in a related field with a GPA of at least 3.6
- Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Nice-To-Haves :
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of special dietary needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Experience creating promotional materials.
- Experience teaching seminars, workshops, and webinars.
- Bilingual
Compensation :
- Salary commensurate with experience.
