Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Network Engineer with strong expertise in communication servers, TPX, and Connect : Direct (NDM) . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mainframe networking, troubleshooting, and deployment, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot mainframe network components including TPX, Connect : Direct (NDM), and communication servers.

Perform network analysis and packet capture using tools such as Wireshark .

Lead deployments , system integrations, and problem resolution across mainframe environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network stability, security, and performance.

Diagnose and resolve connectivity or performance issues in production and test environments.

Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

5 10+ years of experience as a Mainframe Network Engineer (more experience preferred).

Strong hands-on expertise with :

Communication Servers

TPX

Connect : Direct (NDM)

Proficiency with Wireshark and other network diagnostic tools.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and deployment skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Nice to Have :

Experience with network automation or modernization initiatives.

Familiarity with mainframe security protocols and compliance standards.

Exposure to large-scale enterprise network environments.
