Group Fitness Instructor - Southwest Valley YMCA

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR :
- Motivate and lead class participants through fun, enjoyable yoga classes
- Create positive lasting memories for each participant, each day
- This is not an exhaustive list of job duties. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS TO BE A GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR :
- Must enjoy teaching others
- Minimum age 18
- Current state approved First Aid, CPR / AED Certificate
- Current nationally recognized group fitness instructor certificate (e.g. ACE, AFAA YMCA Group Fitness Instructor, ACSM or National Exercise Trainers Association only)
- A positive energetic attitude with the ability to motivate others
