Maintenance Technician - Residential Painter

If you have experience performing routine maintenance and residential painting, don't miss this opportunity! Health Services Consultants is expanding our team to provide maintenance and painting services at our residential homes for adults with disabilities located throughout central Illinois. This dynamic full-time position offers variety in daily duties and skill development while working at different sites to serve our clients.

Duties include :

• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights and stand for long periods of time
• Calculate supply needs, color matching and problem-solving
• Maintain a safe environment, clean tools, meet safety protocols and protect surfaces to prevent damage
• Perform all aspects of painting and finishing (surface preparation, patching, using variety of tools and materials)
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance, general carpentry and plumbing (drywall, leaks)
• Repair, install household electrical appliances (switches, breakers, fuses)
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues (heating / cooling)
