Business Development Sales Representative - Construction & Building Materials Industry (Greensboro, NC)

DH Pace Company is a distribution, construction and service organization offering a complete range of door and door related products and commercial security products. The company is privately owned and has been in operation over 95 years. We have 50+ US offices in 24 states with 2024 company-wide sales over $1 billion. Overhead Door Company of Greensboro, a DH Pace Company, is looking for a Business Development Sales Representative in Greensboro, North Carolina. This individual will sell our commercial line of doors and related products and will specialize in selling door products. If you are an experienced outside sales leader who thrives on hunting for new business, please apply.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of our comprehensive line of commercial doors and related products and services
  • Cultivate sales with commercial and industrial building owners / managers, colleges, K-12 institutions, municipalities, and hospitals in Greensboro and surrounding areas
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards
  • Influence customers' decisions to utilize our door products and services
  • Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system daily
  • Take on additional assignments as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of two (2) years outside sales experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with internal and external contacts at all levels; high sense of urgency with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong aptitude for technical applications and mechanical systems preferred
