TRA RN Clinical Lab Scientist - Microbiologist

TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to with an outside agency.

Ability to plate samples

  • Know how to isolate organism and from multiple growths, thus must know how to identify different growth patterns
  • Must be able to differentiate special characteristics of an organism
  • know how to use Vitek Compact 2.0 instrument
  • know how to perform biochemical testing from memory

    • Preferred Education

    Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors degree)

    Minimum Experience

    Must have 2 years of Clinical Laboratory Experience as a Microbiologist.

    Required Certification / Licensure

  • Registered with a certifying agency (MLT (ASCP), NCA, AMT or equivalent)
  • CPR-Basic Life Support – American Heart Association
  • Other credentialing items, such as a skills Checklist and health related documents, which will be specified by your Recruiter.
