Position Summary
We are seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney (3-5 years of experience) to join our expanding Trust & Estate Litigation Division.
This role is ideal for a motivated litigator who wants to grow and manage meaningful cases, and develop into a senior or partner-track attorney in a professional, system-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage trust, probate, and fiduciary litigation matters.
- Draft petitions, complaints, motions, discovery, and other pleadings.
- Conduct and respond to discovery; prepare for depositions and hearings.
- Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences under supervision.
- Collaborate with paralegals and docketing staff to maintain deadlines and compliance.
- Participate in client meetings and strategy sessions.
- Contribute to improving firm workflows and client service.
Qualifications
Required :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience (civil, probate, or trust).Excellent written, oral, and analytical skills.Familiarity with California Rules of Court and probate procedure.Strong communication and teamwork mindset.Preferred :
Experience handling contested trust or probate petitions.Knowledge of fiduciary accountings or financial elder abuse actions.Desire for mentorship, leadership development, and long-term growth.Compensation and Benefits
