The 2026-2027 Starr Global Associates Program is a dynamic, accelerated 12-month training program designed to identify, cultivate, and retain high-potential college graduates. This program offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build a strong foundation in the insurance industry.

As an Associate, you will work in one of Starr's various departments, learning the business and contributing to your team. The Associates Program complements your department work by offering professional development opportunities, including direct exposure to senior leadership, technical training, and a comprehensive understanding of key functions throughout the organization.

This Associates position will work in the Wholesale Underwriting Department in Alpharetta, GA.

Key Underwriting Responsibilities :

• Policy Issuance & Endorsement Processing : Manage and process policy issuance and endorsement requests efficiently.
• Premium Booking : Accurately process premium bookings in a timely manner.
• File Creation & Maintenance : Establish and maintain organized files for all policies and related documents.
• Policy Number Assignment : Assign policy numbers in accordance with organizational standards.
• Binder Creation & Issuance : Create and issue binders for various policies.
• Business Development Research : Conduct research on potential companies to support business growth.
• Report Preparation : Assist in preparing reports as needed, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Broker Follow-ups : Coordinate with brokers to obtain necessary information and resolve any outstanding issues.
• Marketing Support : Assist in developing presentations and marketing materials.
• Ad-hoc Duties : Provide general support to the department manager and assist with additional projects as directed.

Compensation & Benefits :

For individuals based in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to provide a compensation range. The estimated wage range for this role is $66,000-$82,000, which reflects factors such as skills, experience, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
