Benefits Analyst, I
The University Human Resource Management (UHRM) department is seeking a Benefits Analyst to support University of Utah Campus and U Health Academic. This role is responsible for researching and analyzing benefit-related matters, assisting colleagues with escalated or complex issues, and contributing to UHRM's commitment to exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and effective support for University leaders. Reporting to a Senior Benefits Manager within the employee benefits center of expertise, the Benefits Analyst works as part of a collaborative team that administers a wide range of employee benefit plans, manages benefits billing, and resolves benefits and related payroll issues. The individual in this role will serve as a subject matter expert in employee benefits and associated transactions. The position provides direct service to employees and departments, frequently handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism. Strong customer service skills are essential, as is maintaining current knowledge of evolving benefits regulations and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications :
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT : 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example : bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
Benefits Analyst, I : Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or a master's (or equivalency) degree.
