Basic Functions and Scope of Job :
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for controlling inventory accuracy, performing ABC analysis, and proposing improvements on consolidation, identify high movers and slow movers and taking the correct actions related to optimization.
Coordinate the yearend inventory with related investigations and contribute to reach a high level of accuracy. This role serves as a remote cross-function for the Franklin, Ohio operation between the Logistics and the Purchasing departments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform material movement and other transactions with Modula WMS and SAP
- Oversee inventory levels and monitor / report any discrepancies between SAP and Modula WMS
- Operate Modula Lift with proficiency and accurately controls Modula WMS software
- Operate a forklift or other material handling devices
- Use measuring devices (Tape, Micrometer, Gauges etc.)
- Conduct cycle counts in accordance with procedure
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe working area
- Adhere to all the established department and company standard operating procedures
- Ability to extract and interpret reports from an ERP / MRP system

Requirements :
Qualifications and Skills :
This position will monitor and process the inventory at our Franklin, Ohio facility. A successful candidate must be able to work independently and maintain a priority sheet that will have deliverables daily, weekly, and monthly;
be able to plan accordingly in order to keep a healthy stock of consumables to meet production needs; able to adapt to any changes or problems that arise and brainstorm solutions in the most cost / time efficient way.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and / or inventory management.
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Must have forklift experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of SAP preferred
- Exposure to Warehouse Management Software
- Understanding of UPS, FEDEX, and LTL Carriers
- Understand industry terminology related to the job functions (RMA, NCR, FTL / LTL etc)
- Ability to communicate professionally (verbal and electronic)
