Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - PRN Days

Job Summary

Hiring for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN / LPN) to provide patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This role includes gathering and reporting patient data, carrying out clinical orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in an age-appropriate and population-appropriate manner.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care as directed by an RN.

Collect, document, and report patient data.

Perform therapeutic procedures according to established guidelines.

Ensure care is delivered safely and in compliance with policies and standards.

Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Active LVN / LPN license in the applicable state.

Current BLS certification.

One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience preferred, not required.

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

Prior experience in emergency or critical care settings.

Comfort working with vents, trachs, PICC lines, etc.

Two years of direct patient care experience.
