The Marketing Coordinator works directly with the Director of Marketing & Public Relations, Marketing Manager, and Director of Sales & Marketing to help support resort-wide and departmental initiatives for Montage Laguna Beach. This position has a focus on public relations and marketing; including but not limited to brand marketing, social media, website and digital marketing. Social media duties to include support with social media content planning and cultivation to grow online relationships with key target audiences; and seek new opportunities to integrate social media into our strategic marketing objectives. Coordinator also assists with general administrative tasks including, but not limited to : upkeep of multiple websites and third party sites; collateral creation and updates; organization and management of photography library; reputation management; collateral filing / organization; media itinerary development; and making reservations for PR / Marketing VIPs.

Essential Functions

• Perform administrative duties such as website updates, media reservations and itineraries, collateral creation and organization, and upkeep of filing systems.
• Support with daily management of social media channels
• Reputation management across a variety of platforms
• Assist Director of Marketing & Public Relations and Marketing Manager in scheduling appointments, meetings and other departmental tasks.
• Assist with monthly reporting and auditing of brand image.
• Work closely with operational departments, PR agencies and local partners to stay informed of relevant news and updates to maximize opportunities for exposure.
• Order and maintain office supplies & filing system
• Perform additional tasks as required

The pay scale for Marketing Coordinator is $25.00.
