Treatment consists of medication management and psychoeducational counseling with a cognitive behavioral approach. The Mentally STRONG Method empowers clients to identify and organize their thoughts and behaviors and challenges them to effect positive change for their future by developing a personal vision for sustainable, healthy mental strength.

Compensation : Starts at $17.00 / hour ($0.50 / hour raise after 3 consecutive positive evaluations) Hours : Full time, Monday - Thursday 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm Rotating Fridays : 9 am to approximately 3 pm Responsibilities : The Medical Receptionist at Mentally STRONG is an extremely important part of the relationships that we maintain with our clients.
They are the first line of communication and first impression that someone will have of our organization. Receptionists are responsible for handling all incoming patient communication in a swift, efficient, kind, and professional manner that aligns with the Mentally STRONG brand standards, personality, and voice.
They are also responsible for the first step in our revenue cycle where accurate data collection is imperative. Complete online Mentally STRONG Course.
Understand, and be able to explain, the Mentally STRONG Method to patients. Phone / Voicemail Manage general voicemail box, manage, and return all calls received prior to 2pm within the same business day.
Email Management answer all emails while keeping HIPAA Compliance. All e mails received before 2 pm should be answered the same business day.
Registration / Check in Check in patients, accurately input or update all patient demographics, verify insurance, collect copay or prior balance and message the Provider.
Registration of New Patients Register and schedule new patients from a variety of sources including inpatient facilities.
Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by safeguarding protected health information. Set Up Insurance Accurately - Fix issues with insurance as needed with communication with the EHR billing office.
Insurance Verification via phone or portal Referrals accurately register, contact, and schedule referrals, record referring agency or physician.
Sending in refills as directed by an NP. Patient To-Do’s Patients will send messages through their patient portals Review, complete and / or respond to patient communication / messages as appropriate.
Copay / Balance Collection. Scheduling appointments for multiple providers, within specific guidelines. Client Relationship Management.
Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Convey and help enforce the clinic’s no show / cancellation and payment policies. Answer patient questions and requests in person, email, EHR, and phone / messaging system.
Other duties as assigned. Closing Procedures - Stocking water, total petty cash, clean / sanitize lobby, empty shred box, lock the door.
