Description :

This is a critical care nursing position.

The unit has 8 beds with a patient ratio of 2 : 1.

You will be working with adult and geriatric patients.

Common diagnoses include respiratory failure, sepsis, DKA, GI bleed, afib RVR, CHF, and chronic renal failure.

Candidates should possess high energy and a willingness to take direction.

AHA EKG / rhythm course is required.

Dress code includes any solid color scrubs.

Unacceptable attire includes crocs, shoes with logos, t-shirts with logos, and scrubs with cartoon characters.

Floating may be required to MedSurg and Behavioral Health units.

Schedule involves three 12-hour shifts alternating every other weekend.

There are no call requirements associated with the position.

The facility is a Joint Commission-accredited facility.

All travelers must have required certifications prior to starting.
