Position Description :
Analysts play a critical role in deal execution and support and will be focused on evaluating new deals, conducting due diligence, executing investment transactions, and ongoing portfolio company management. Successful Analysts will be self-starters, with strong analytical skills, a curiosity to learn, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Main Analyst tasks will include, but are not limited to :
- Tracking healthcare industry trends to identify sectors of interest, anticipate major headwinds and tailwinds, and understand the impact of these trends on prospective investments and current portfolio companies.
- Building relationships with investment bankers and other key contacts; generating new deal leads and identifying potential acquisitions within target sectors.
- Reviewing CIMs and other marketing materials; providing quality input and feedback on new deals.
- Contributing to key due diligence workstreams and performing financial, operational, and strategic analysis; flagging areas of concern for senior leadership.
- Interacting directly with management teams, physician practices, industry experts, and third-party diligence vendors.
- Representing Triton Pacific in management meetings and diligence calls with prospective investments; participating in Board meetings and strategy sessions with our portfolio companies.
- Managing M&A processes from start to finish, with involvement in every aspect of the deal.
- Building and maintaining financial models, valuations, and other detailed quantitative analyses.
- Drafting written materials to review potential investments, summarize diligence findings, articulate key considerations, generate new business opportunities, and communicate with current and prospective investors.
- Monitoring portfolio companies and managing internal and external reporting on investments.
- Contributing to the growth and optimization of portfolio companies, including financial planning, strategy, capital raising / financing, business development, and add-on acquisitions.

Background / Skills :
Characteristics of the ideal candidate are as follows :
1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking and / or Private Equity, ideally with extensive exposure to middle market M&A transactions and experience in healthcare services.Work experience and academic coursework should provide a strong background in finance, accounting, financial statement analysis, and business strategy.Presentation and writing ability are critical in synthesizing information and presenting key findings, conclusions, and recommendations.Candidate should be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and polished executive presence.Financial modeling and Excel skills must be top-tier, with ability to prepare detailed projection models, work with challenging data, and translate complex concepts into quantitative analyses.Candidate should be a self-starter, organized, and proactive, taking initiative / ownership of assigned workstreams and overall process management.Critical thinking, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity are key to success in this role.This is a potentially long-term career track position without an MBA requirement for advancement.
