Job Title : Machine Setup Technician

Compensation : $18  $25 per hour, based on experience

Schedule : Full-time, 40+ hours per week

Position Overview :

Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking 12 Blanchard Grinder Operators. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with machine shop experience who are motivated to work, learn, and grow within a supportive environment. While training will be provided, candidates with prior experience in Blanchard grinding are highly preferred and should be able to contribute immediately.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate Blanchard grinding machines to perform precision grinding on steel and other materials.

Utilize hand tools, wrenches, and measuring instruments for accurate adjustments and finishing.

Perform manual steel grinding as needed.

Safely operate jib cranes and overhead lifting equipment to move and position heavy parts.

Flip, adjust, and prepare parts for machining processes.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.

Follow instructions closely while demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications :

Prior experience with Blanchard grinding strongly preferred.

General machine shop experience required.

Ability to read measurements and apply basic math skills.

Comfortable using hand tools and performing manual grinding.

Experience operating jib cranes or overhead lifting equipment is a plus.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Work Schedule :

Option 1 : MondayFriday, 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM

Option 2 : MondayThursday, 6 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM
