Job descriptionDepartment - Prosthodontics Travel to our Sturtevant clinic on Wednesdays is required (9115 Durand Ave, Sturtevant, WI 53177) Travel to our Franklin Clinic on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the Month is required (6855 S. 27th Street, Franklin, WI 53132) Travel to our Milwaukee Clinic 1-2 times per month based on patient case load is required (205 E. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53202) Monday : 9 : 10am-4 : 30pm (1st and 3rd Monday of the month at Kenosha Clinic) 9 : 30am-4 : 00pm (2nd and 4th Monday of the month at Franklin Clinic) Tuesday : 9 : 10am-4 : 30pm (Kenosha Clinic) Wednesday : 8 : 40am-4 : 00pm (Sturtevant Clinic) Thursday : 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm (Kenosha Clinic) Friday / Saturday : Off Assist provider throughout exam including complex treatment, surgery, & all operatory-related care Explain treatment procedures; seek clarification and understanding from patient Review and assist patient in updating iPad medical history Assist provider with patient education Take patient blood pressure, X-rays and radiographs Monitor oxygen levels when nitrous or IV is administered Make impressions and fabricate crowns as instructed Prepare and record clinical notes, charting and patient record Prepare operatory for patient exam; sterilize instruments and disinfect operatory Order dental supplies Provide coverage for Dental Services Representatives to account for absences or high-volume periods Previous Dental Assistant experience or completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of state dental practices requirements, including X-ray proficiency and OSHA training strongly preferred Effective interpersonal skills to maintain rapport with patients, dentists, and other staff members Good customer service skills and ability to work as a team in fast-paced environment
