POSITION SUMMARY :
The Recruitment and Employment Coordinator responsibilities include creating, developing, and administering the City’s recruitment program; and facilitate, design, arrange for training classes, and create manuals and materials to meet the City’s mandatory training program.
Typical duties may include but not limited to :
- Develops and administers an effective recruitment program.
- Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates.
- Manages relocations and the internship program.
- Establishes recruiting requirements.
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites.
- Monitors job offers and compensation practices, emphasizing benefits and perks.
- Provides one-on-one user training as well as classroom training for groups.
- Participating in recruitment events, such as career fairs, preparing information packets, and gathering information from suitable candidates.
- Participates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain information useful to training facility and integrates information into a training program.
- Demonstrates processes and procedures being taught following the training outline.
- Lecture class on the purpose of processes and procedures with the aid of Standard of Operations Procedures, Policies, and Procedures training handouts and visual aids
- Coordinate and schedule interviews and assessments.
- Schedules classes, classroom, and equipment availability based on employee / department.
- Develop and conduct in-house training programs and training materials utilizing internal and external resources.
- Coordinates Internship programs
- Assist with new employee onboarding
- Delivers orientation training to New Hires
- Coordinates with other departments to determine training objectives.
- Maintain a training log.
- Performs other duties as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Educational Requirements / Experience
Bachelor’s degree Preferred, Relevant Experience in Recruitment and Training Preferred.At least 3 years experience in delivery of professional training programs.At least 3 years of proven effective recruitment techniques.Exceptional Customer Service Skills.
