Summary :
Responsible for implementing sound credit administration procedures throughout the bank to ensure full and appropriate use of bank resources consistent with goals and objectives. Acts as an information resource and provides technical support regarding financial analysis, loan structure, pricing, collateral / credit documentation, appraisal requirements and problem loan identification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Performs credit analyses on existing clients and prospects including a description of the company, detailed performance trends, salient issues, and credit worthiness, collateral analyses, debt service or fixed charge coverage analysis, and strengths and weaknesses.
- Maintains ongoing reviews of credit quality through a review of periodic financial statements and collateral valuation.
- Maintain and update tracking reports periodically to make sure loans adhere to policy.
- Take minutes for Directors Loan Committee.
- Serves as liaison for Waterford Bank with other banks on participation transactions.
- Continuously work with bank senior management to ensure efficient credit analysis and optimal procedures.
- Engages appraisals and conducts appraisal reviews.
- Prepare specific reports for Board of Directors meetings periodically.
- Comply with all requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Other duties as assigned.
