Drafter
We are seeking a skilled Steel Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Your attention to detail and ability to interpret specifications will be crucial in producing accurate and precise drawings.
If you have a strong background in drafting and are proficient in CAD software, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities :
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers or architects
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and objectives
- Utilize CAD software to produce 2D and 3D drawings
- Review and revise drawings as necessary, incorporating feedback from team members
- Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations
- Prepare documentation such as bills of materials, parts lists, and assembly instructions
- Assist in the development of Steel design concepts and solutions
- Maintain accurate records of all drawings and related documents
Skills :
- Proficiency in CAD software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, Sketchup, NavisWorks, Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate drawings
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Familiarity with schematic diagrams and electrical layouts
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
