Front Office Support
You would be responsible to provide essential front office support in a busy Orthopedics practice, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for every patient. Manages appointment scheduling, patient check-in / check-out, insurance verification, copay collection, and referral coordination. Supports the clinical team with chart preparation and handles incoming calls and documentation. Ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, team-based environment with a strong focus on customer service and efficiency.
What you will do :
- Greets and communicates with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department.
- Answers telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting.
- Processes calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member / provider in a timely manner.
- Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols in order to maximize provider productivity.
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalentExperience within a medical office or billing department preferred. Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferredExcellent keyboard skills.
