Summary : The Clinical Customer Representative (Bilingual) will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of customer service for patients at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This position requires effective communication with diverse patient populations, facilitating the delivery of culturally competent healthcare services. The role involves patient scheduling, registration, and administrative support while maintaining compliance with FQHC policies and regulations.

Key duties :
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment
- Assist patients in person, over the phone, or via digital communication in their preferred language.
- Explain clinic procedures, appointment schedules, and patient rights and responsibilities.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Handle appointment cancellations and rescheduling promptly to optimize clinic efficiency. Ensure departmental productivity goals are tracked, met, and reported.
- Complete patient check-ins, verifying demographic and insurance information.
- Assist patients with forms, translating when necessary to ensure understanding.
- Collect co-pays, sliding-scale payments, and other fees as applicable.
- Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to support seamless patient care.
- Participate in training on FQHC policies, cultural competency, and patient-centered care.
- Stay informed about available community resources to assist patients as needed.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.Prior experience in a healthcare or customer service role, preferably in an FQHC or similar setting.Bilingual fluency (Spanish / English) preferredProficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systemsStrong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
