As a seasonal Tax Professional, you'll assist clients with a variety of tax needs while receiving robust training and support from our expert team, ensuring your success in this role.
Your Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough tax interviews with clients, both in-person and virtually through video, phone, chat, and email.
- Prepare complete and accurate tax returns to meet clients' diverse needs.
- Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and recommend additional products and services.
- Support clients with IRS inquiries.
All certification levels can provide standard tax notice services.
Circular 230 associates can offer audit representation.Mentor and assist fellow team members to foster a collaborative work environment.Your Qualifications :
Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax preparation.Proficient in completing individual tax returns.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable utilizing virtual tools for communication.Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.Completion of continuing education and adherence to IRS and state requirements.High school diploma or equivalent; higher education is preferred.Preferred Skills :
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.Experience in preparing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).5+ years of experience in the accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax fields.Experience with virtual tax interviews.Knowledge in tax planning and audit support.Sales and marketing experience would be beneficial.Note : Enrollment in or completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment does not guarantee employment.
Pay Range : $18.00 - $35.00 / Hr.
This position is subject to local minimum wage laws. Pay decisions will be based on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location.
