Engineering Technician

Exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician to join Cramer Fish Sciences in West Sacramento !

This full-time position will support our river restoration design and monitoring projects through data collection, analysis, and the development of technical design drawings and graphics using AutoCAD / ArcGIS. Experience in hydrology and hydraulics, drafting and engineering design, GIS, and / or geomorphology highly desired.

HOW TO APPLY :

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provide technical support for the analysis and engineering design of riverine systems
• Perform data collection and analyses related to streamflow hydrology and hydraulics, sediment transport, and topographic data
• Support the development of plan sheets, maps, sections, profiles, details, and other graphics using AutoCAD to convey design elements
• Support hydrologic and hydraulic analysis including data synthesis and model development (including HEC-RAS, SRH-2D, HEC-HMS, HSPF, and others).
• Document, maintain , and refine computer aided drafting (CAD) standards and workflows
• Revising plan sheets marked up by clients and / or engineers

COMPENSATION :

Salary : $ 2 5 - $ 3 0 / hour (depending on experience)
