Job descriptionCANDIDATES NEED TO HAVE RECENT EXPERIENCE SUPPORTING TRADE FLOOR. IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO BE WORKING AT A CAPITAL MARKETS COMPANY, THEY MUST BE DIRECTLY SUPPORTING TRADERS. We need : A Mid-senior level (4-10 years only) Desktop support engineer with recent experience supporting Capital Markets / Trading environments. Candidates must have experience supporting our clients both as front-line helpdesk support, onsite client support and on implementation projects as well as support local desktop applications in a Windows based environment. Must know Citrix / ServiceNow / Intune / Azure and Office 365. THE CLIENT DOES NOT WANT MORE EXPERIENCE THAN 10 YEARS. THEY ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A SENIOR RESOURCE. ONLY SEND CANDIDATES AT 10 YEARS OR LESS. Candidates must have Long Projects / Good Tenure, Excellent communication skills and a State issued ID (Not Bills) showing they are Local. Candidates must be LOCAL to the NEW YORK or NEW JERSEY area and COMMUTE into the office FOUR TIMES A WEEK . NO RELOCATION CONSIDERED . Please send candidates even if they are over the target rate. Work supporting our clients both as front-line helpdesk support, onsite client support and on implementation projects support local desktop applications in a Windows based environment Must know Citrix / ServiceNow / Intune / Azure Financial experience is a must In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (high-level understanding and working knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2012 R2 and Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 is required) Knowledge and experience with Office 365 Experience supporting and setting up Office 365 users, accounts, configurations Experience supporting mobile devices Powershell scripting is a big plus In-depth knowledge of supporting Excel and add-ins a plus Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment Self-motivated, self-starter, and challenge-seeker
