What You'll Do

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the educational location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols inside the campus buildings and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or suspicious behavior.

Observe and report incidents, hazards, and / or unusual circumstances to supervisors and appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

Communicate and interact with students, staff, and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed.

Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits.

Assist with implementing emergency protocols and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
