Job Summary :

Mission Neurology, partner of Mission Health, is seeking general neurologists to join our outpatient team in Asheville, NC.

Qualified Candidates :

  • Board certified or board eligible - American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Neurology Subspecialties welcome
  • Practicing physicians and new grads are encouraged to apply

Position Highlights :

  • Outpatient only positions, no inpatient or ER call required
  • 2025 State-of-the-art / Newly Designed Office Space (Asheville Site)

    • Ability to work at satellite locations

  • Ability to ramp quickly w / Existing Patient Panel - day one
  • Botox, EMG and EEG opportunities available
  • 4.5-day work week; flex scheduling
  • 1 : 7 (weeks) Office Call; Shared w / APPs & Physicians

    • No IP Call Coverage

  • Teaching and Research Opportunities Available

  • Outpatient team works in conjunction with our robust team of neurohospitalists
  • Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • NAEC accredited Level III Epilepsy Center
  • 12-bed Neuroscience ICU
  • 36-bed dedicated neuroscience and stroke unit
  • Strong collaboration w / Neurohospitalists, Interventional Neuroradiology and Neurosurgery Teams
  • Large catchment area lends to a diverse patient population
