Who We Are

HALLMARK - Because Connecting With Each Other Has Never Been More Important

For more than a century, Hallmark has been bringing people together and improving the relationships that matter most. That's why millions of people all over the world connect with the Hallmark brand. It has always been a mission so much bigger than any one of us who work here. Today, we need empathetic learners, strategic thinkers, and enthusiastic visionaries with diverse experiences and skills to help us create the rest of Hallmark's second century as we shift to a more digitally savvy, unified approach that combines the best of brick-and-mortar retail with the efficiency of dot-com spaces. Help us imagine what our next hundred years could look like!

What We Do and How We Do It

Do you love creativity, kids, and a bit of organized chaos? As Kaleidoscope Programs Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of Hallmark's vibrant, hands-on art space - where kids and their accompanying adults come to create, explore, and let their imaginations run wild.

Kaleidoscope is a free, art-making space located at Hallmark's Headquarters in Crown Center in downtown Kansas City. It's a joyful reflection of Hallmark's passion for helping people connect, communicate, and create. In this role, you'll help design and lead memorable programs and experiences - both in the studio and online - that empower thousands of kids each year to express themselves in new and exciting ways. You'll also help shape the creative energy of the space, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and positive environment.

This is a full-time, Tuesday - Saturday position, ideal for someone who brings creativity, experience, and passion for working with kids.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL :

  • Design and deliver engaging programs that spark creativity both in the studio and online.
  • Lead open-ended art experiences for kids ages 5 - 12.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop new approaches that enhance the guest experience and deepen participation.
  • Support special events, outreach efforts, and creative recharges for teachers, employees and business / partner groups.
  • Contribute to the planning and creation of content for Kaleidoscope's social media, website, and other digital communications.
  • Coordinate program logistics, materials, and setup to keep everything organized and running smoothly.
  • Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where kids and families feel inspired to use their full imaginations.
  • Gather feedback and insights to help continuously improve programs and experiences.

In Addition : Saturday Team Lead Duties

  • Partner with the Manager on Duty to oversee Saturday operations and ensure the studio runs smoothly.
  • Provide guidance and support for Saturday staff, helping them deliver top-notch guest experiences.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that keeps the energy high and the creativity flowing.
  • Maintain accurate records of special Saturday programs and attendance.
  • Ensure proper shutdown of studio equipment and lobby close-down procedures are followed.
  • Now's your chance to join our team-just follow the instructions below to apply.

You must show how you meet the basic qualifications in a resume or document you upload, or by completing the work experience and education application fields. A cover letter stating how your experience aligns with this role is appreciated. Accepted file types are DOCX and PDF.
